WELCOME  honey child.... 

A true southern welcome.

This is Ma Farmer from my third childrens book..."The Gigantic Sweet Potato" coming in the fall of 2010.

She is a mixture of several people I know.  I just sent off the sketches to the publisher, and I thought she would make a great subject for today word.

Strong

A Strong bond is not a tight grip.

Went back to my transparent watercolors. Just love what they do for me.
This is inspired by watching my daughter start college. I am realizing that any bond we have now is really free will on both our parts. We still have a great relationship, but it is hard letting go for both of us. We each want different things to stay same, but also like our different freedoms.
